Events in the Salterns Group of Wi's
Milford on Sea W.I is part of the Salterns, which comprises of 5 other local groups. Group meetings are held, along with various events.
Details of all, are displayed on the notice board at the back of the hall, at our monthly meetings.
Salterns Group Christmas Carol Service: Tuesday 3rd December 2024
St Thomas' Church, Lymington - 5pm
All members are encouraged to attend this very special evening, set in a beautiful church.
You will also be able to see our Christmas Tree, decorated with the lovely ornaments that were made at the November meeting.
Refreshments will be served after the service and this event is open to friends and family too.
A representative from Oakhaven will give a brief talk about the care they offer to residents and families and will be presented with a cheque for £100 from our WI and donations from the other WI's in the Salterns Group.
Salterns Group Meeting: Tuesday 12 March 2024
An afternoon of songs, stories, history, folklore and fantasy with The Driftwood Troubadours at Hordle WI Hall from 2pm.
A sign up sheet will be available at the January meeting if you would like to attend this event, along with the collection of £5 in cash.

Trip to The Bombay Sapphire Distillery and the Whitchurch Silk Mill
Everton & Lymore WI are running this trip on the 24th May, 2022.
They have a few places left wondered if anyone else in the group would like to join them? The cost is £32 to include all entrance fees and lunch.
The coach will leave St Mary's Church Hall at 9.00am, returning about 5.30pm.

5pm start, so recommend a 4.45pm arrival. Park at Council Building at the rear (with parking clock or £ charge). WI making a donation to their charity of £50. Individuals encouraged to make a personal contribution at end. Beverley and Di both giving readings. All donations to Forca 14 as Salterns Group charity.
