* Membership of our W.I is currently full for 2025/6, however names can be added to a waiting list. Residency in Milford is a requirement *

Who are the W.I?

The WI is the largest women's voluntary organisation in the world.

Founded in 1897 in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, it spread to the UK by 1915 and celebrated its centenary here, with over 220,000 members in 6,300 WI 's.

The 3 founding principles have remained unchanged, but very relevant today:

• Friendship 
• Education 
• Campaigning

Milford on Sea W.I

Milford on Sea WI is part of the Hampshire County Federation of WI's comprising of 200 branches and then at the local level, we belong to The Salterns group of WI's.

We have a large membership, who are actively involved in the life of our vibrant village through the library, community centre groups and charity shops.

Our WI meeting is on the second Wednesday of every month (except August when a meeting is not held), at 7pm in The Bridge (formerly the Village Community Centre), Sea Road, Milford on Sea.
